Feeding new package bees

my bees have been in the hives for a week now and the queens are out, don't know if there laying yet I think I'll check maybe Sunday. But I have one hive that's eating around a quart a day, the other is eating close to twice that. I haven't been in the hives to see what's going on yet but does this sound normal? I filled a quart jar today at 4:30 pm and by 7:30 it was half full. There's a lot of activity at the entrance ( bees fighting ) so I installed robbing screens. Screens has been on a few days now. Maybe there just drawing a lot of comb...any thoughts?

I say you have active bees!  I bet they are drawing comb like crazy

The one hive slowed down a bit after i installed the robbing screens. But there still going through close to two quarts a day. I'll keep feeding them until they don't want anymore.  I am hoping to see some caped brood by mid to late next week.
