New Beekeeping 101 class

If you are interested in taking a beginner beekeeping class, Beez Needz is where you need to be!  Listed below is the Beginning Beekeeping Class Syllabus and how you can sign up to attend.  Call for questions or to  reserve your spot!

Beginning Beekeeping Class Syllabus
March 22 - Bee anatomy, cast structure, bee species and varieties, bare essentials for healthy bees (location, nutrition: what do bees need to be successful)  (Mark Case)
March 29 - Woodenware, hardware, necessary tools, veils and personal protective equipment, (stands, 5, 8, or 10 frame boxes, bottom board options)  (Marvin Driggers)
April 5 - Year long calendar for beekeeping (Rob Jacobs)
April 12 - Signs, symptoms, maladies, trouble shooting, integrated pest management. (Nancy Rupert)
April 14 -  Field Day: Hands on package installation, nuc installation, splits.
April 18 - Pick up your bee packages
